It is owned by Mohammad Mehtab whose Panwan Center is located in Pan Mandi under the name of Haji Salahuddin but it is known all over the country as Haleem Biryani of Pan Mandi.
They serve these delicious dishes to the people outside their own food center and surprisingly, it is not in the biryani and halim pot but in the big plate which is the center of attention of the people more than the food.
Muhammad Mehtab, owner of Pakwan Center, says that we have been doing this for 50-60 years and now our fourth generation is doing it. At first our father started this work with only 5 kg of biryani.
It has now reached more and more pots, that is to say, many pots run out during Iftar and Sehri. Here in Iftar, the parcel of biryani is given from Asr and then the crowd stays here till 12 o'clock at night.
It should be noted that it is famous not only in Karachi but in the whole country. People come here from different parts of Quetta and Punjab to eat and never tire of praising that they have never eaten such excellent biryani and haleem before today.
